Dr. Heniff grew up in Chicago, completed her undergraduate education at Marquette University, then medical school at Rush Medical College. She met her husband (“the other Dr. Heniff”) at Rush in the romantic environment of the anatomy lab. She trained in the combined EM/Pediatrics resident at IU Methodist in Indianapolis, and is board certified in general Emergency Medicine, general Pediatrics, and Pediatric EM. In 2020, she also completed her JD at Indiana University. She is on faculty at IU Emergency Medicine. Dr. Heniff appreciates the variety of work environments of BCEM’s three sites. When she is not working clinically, Dr. Heniff enjoys hanging out with her 3 children, reading, exercising, and walking her German Shepherd.
